The Find や Addall 、Alibris など、いくつものオンラインストアを横断的に検索してくれるサイトがありますが、今回初めて Alibris で検索した商品を購入しました。 Gary Snyder／Tom Killion の 「The High Sierra of California」と「Whole Earth Epilog: Access to Tools」です。「The High …」は念願のハードカバー（既に絶版で、今は$25のソフトカバーのみ）がプロパーで＄50でしたが、お値段ナント ¥996！「Whole Earth …」はお値段 ¥ 1,172！（日本では15,000円程で売られていたりします）。送料は同じ店舗からの発送ではなかったので少々高くつきましたが、それでも ¥ 3,044。締めて 5,212円！どうだぁ〜!! という安さ爆発。しかし、「Whole Earth …」は在庫が無かったという事でキャンセルになってしまったというオチもあり、、。 商品のコンディションを見れないというリスクはありますが、今回は大満足です。
